District Court of the Virgin Islands Honors Winners of the Jury Poster Contest

In commemoration of Law Day, the District Court of the Virgin Islands sponsored a Jury Poster Contest where students in private, public, and parochial schools in grades 9 through 12 were invited to submit a jury poster that depicted the concept that Legal System + Community = Jury. The District Court embraced the opportunity not only to introduce the importance of the jury process in our legal system to our next generation of citizens, but also to create a consciousness and willingness to serve on juries when called upon.
