Online Payments

Pay.gov has a minimum payment amount of $5.01. If you need to make a payment for under this amount, please visit us at one of our courthouse locations for assistance or please mail in your payment request with a check or money order.

Online Payments for Miscellaneous Fees and Criminal Debt
The District Court of the Virgin Islands now offers new options for making payments. You may make online payments for various miscellaneous fees such as attorney admissions, Certificates of Good Standing, record search, sanctions, etc. and criminal debt such as special assessments, fines, and criminal restitution. 

What is pay.gov?
Pay.gov is the United States Treasury’s online payment portal.  The benefits include eliminating the need of printing paper forms and paying for postage, and not having to worry about delays in the mail.  Payments can be submitted online 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.  You can make one-time payments or establish recurring payments.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted Through Pay.gov?

  • Credit Card (only for non-criminal debt payments): Payments can be made using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit cards.
  • Debit Card: Payments can be made using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express debit cards.
  • Checking or Savings Account: One-time or recurring payments can be made using business or personal checking and savings (ACH) accounts.
  • PayPal: Payments can be made from PayPal accounts.
  • Amazon Pay (only for non-criminal debt payments): Payments can be made from Amazon Pay accounts.

Note: Criminal debt payments cannot be made with a credit card. Credit card payments from bankruptcy debtors cannot be accepted.
