Chief Judge Curtis V. Gómez is pleased to announce the appointment of Glenda L. Lake, Esquire, as Clerk of Court for the District Court of the Virgin Islands, effective May 21, 2012.
Attorney Lake brings to the Court a strong background in court administration. She has a strong record as an innovative and resourceful administrator. Previously, she served as the Court Administrator for the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands and as Administrative Director for the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands. Attorney Lake has served as a member of numerous professional associations, including the Conference of State Court Administrators, where she formerly served as a member of its board of directors.
Attorney Lake is a graduate of Emory University School of Law and also a magna cum laude graduate of the University of the Virgin Islands undergraduate program.
Attorney Lake is the first female Clerk of Court for the District of the Virgin Islands.
